An adaptive reuse project consisting of converting a former laundry mat into a micro-rum distillery and bar, focusing on custom cocktails with an island/old Florida feel.
The project includes the addition of a new exterior covered patio bar with seating and landscaping, a restroom, and an access ramp. As well as renovating/remodeling the existing interior space into a distillery production floor with a large glass overhead door and side windows to provide viewing of the rum production by their thirsty patrons.

New 22,000 square foot retail space, including exterior garden center, mechanical shop, warehouse/stock area, accounting office, money room, and more per client.
The project utilized an innovative steel frame construction, which allowed for the elimination of interior columns, thereby providing a significantly greater level of flexibility when designing/modifying the retail floor.

Interior remodel of existing grocery/retail building, including the expansion of the retail floor and reconfiguration of beverage coolers, freezers, and the existing kitchen to include a new bakery and gift department, all while streamlining the customer’s shopping process.
The addition of new materials, paint colors, and decorations works to elevate the market’s interior while providing a relaxed shopping experience conducive to the island’s lifestyle.

Existing commercial kitchen remodel & two-level expansion addition. –

Renovation and expansion of existing commercial kitchen through the demolition of existing mechanical spaces and enclosure area to have zero impact on the existing building footprint.
The new kitchen is designed to match the existing building addition and to help screen existing equipment while providing attic and mechanical space above for required kitchen ventilation and other required mechanical equipment.

Upgraded Gourmet
Retail interior remodel.

Full interior remodel including updated store layout, new finishes, new upgraded service equipment, and a more modern, inviting design. –

Full updating and remodeling of a renowned gourmet market, including a completely updated layout with a new, enlarged cheese and wine department with a tasting area, and a new juice bar in the produce department. All new equipment throughout the store, including new high-efficiency refrigerated and freezer cases, new service cases in all departments, including the bakery, meat, seafood, and deli departments. Remodel includes the replacement and upgrading of all finishes, including flooring, walls, ceiling, and lighting.
Overall, the market remodel is meant to provide a luxurious and intimate shopping experience while maintaining the friendly, high-quality customer service patrons love.
